Print Studio & Gallery in Beverley
Eastgate Studio’s aim is to offer professional and affordable printmaking facilities to local and regional printmaker artists and people with an interest in the arts. We offer open access to our printmaking studios and workshops compromising of etching, relief and screen-printing presses and tools. Our offer also includes print room and gallery hire, a print club, pop-up exhibition space, a range of workshops and courses, print and print material products for sale.
Gallery and Shop
Our gallery is fitted with flexible fittings to allow a rolling programme of exhibitions and a pop-up space for creatives to sell their works. Display and presentation systems: STAS Gallery System; Gridwall display system; Large browsers for unframed prints; A variety of plinths and pedestals.
Printmaking Facilities
Our open-access printmaking facilities provide use of the etching/relief print press and screen print table. Equipment can be booked in advance and materials can be purchased from the onsite shop. Facilities include: Kippax vacuum print table; Screen washout room with pressure washer; Screens for hire; Hawthorne Etching Press; Rubber rollers; Glass inking-up stations; Large washout sinks.
Workshops
Studio rooms with washout sinks are available for workshops and courses of up to 6 attendees; an Apple Mac and an iPad Pro are also available to members’.
We offer a range of courses including: Relief Printmaking; Intaglio Printmaking; Screenprinting; Art and Mindfulness.
