“All that Jazz” exhibition opening

We’re celebrating the opening of Susan Leeson’s new exhibition “All that Jazz” on Saturday 27th January from 1pm.

Join us for art, music and chat! And if you play an instrument, bring it along for some improv jamming.

“Whilst working in the studio, I always have music playing in the background. I have quite an eclectic toast and particularly enjoy wide range of jazz sounds. I’ve recently had 1960s jazz album covers in mind during this project.

My “Sounds” series includes mixed media hand-pulled prints using printmaking techniques, woodcut, linocut, block print, chine-collé and collage. The layers of colour, shape and texture represent the sound mixing in a recording studio.”

The gallery will be pulsating with colour shape and sounds… Join us for this exciting event and to meet the artist. Refreshments will be served.
